Creative Movement and Music for Infants and Toddlers
These
exciting classes include songs, finger play, poems, dramatics, story-telling,
exercise, circle games, freeze dance, use of rhythm sticks, puppets, hoola
hoops, climbing and balancing apparatus, slides and tunnels, and a snack time
for toddlers. These activities stimulate creative expression, develop fine
and gross motor skills and eye-hand coordination, assist in language
acquisition, and influence the social and emotional adjustment of each child.
Musical accompaniment is provided throughout each class by the teacher playing
autoharp or guitar.
Children are accompanied by an adult who interacts
throughout the class.
